Many technological advances and lower production requirements have now made this process much easier to utilize than ever before.

Color is the most common aspect of a wallcovering to be changed although there are many more features that can be customized.

Texture or Embossing can also be changed to add a new dimension to the appearance of a wallcovering.

Print patterns can also be added to a wallcovering for additional visual appeal as well as to coordinate with other furnishings.

Performance of a wallcovering can also be enhanced in the custom process. This can either be by adding additional weight or thickness to the product and also by adding top coatings such as Tedlar^® to increase the stain resistance.
